SignalSplash MCP server for AI agents
Connect Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-capable agents directly to your analytics. Use the hosted endpoint at signalsplash.com/api/mcp or run the standalone @signalsplash/mcp package locally — authenticated with your API key, with tools for overview stats, top pages, sources, funnels, sessions, and web vitals.
More read API endpoints
The read API now covers overview metrics, traffic sources, funnel conversion, clickstream events, activity heatmaps, and Core Web Vitals so you can pull any dashboard view into your own backend or BI tool.
Project and user preferences sync across devices
Per-project defaults (timeframe, environment, sidebar visibility) and user-level preferences (theme, density) now persist server-side and follow you between browsers and teammates instead of getting stuck in localStorage.
- Rebuilt project switcher with recents — The app selector dropdown is now keyboard-navigable, height-constrained, and surfaces your most recently visited projects at the top so jumping between sites takes one click.
- Refined marketing hero — The signalsplash.com landing page now leads with an animated dot-wave hero and tightened nav layout to better reflect what the product feels like.
Fully flexible overview tiling
Every overview widget can now resize to any column width and snap into place against a magnetic dot grid that appears while you drag or resize. Layouts persist per project, so you can build a dense dashboard that fits your screen instead of working around fixed card sizes.
Per-card flip settings, AI summaries, realtime feed, and annotations
Hover any overview card for a gear icon that opens a 3D flip-to-back panel for hue, chart type, and timeframe. A new AI summary widget compares the current vs previous period across one or all projects, a realtime feed streams live events, and you can drop annotation notes onto the traffic and trend charts to mark releases or incidents.
- Sharper Top Pages favicons — Top Pages now pulls favicons directly from each host (bypassing Google's stale cache) with larger, top-aligned icons and tighter country-flag alignment.
- Shorter timeframes render correctly — 15m, 1h, today, and 24h views now bucket data by hour or minute so charts populate instead of rendering empty. Hourly bars, funnel slices, and treemap colors have all been tuned for readability.
- Help and Changelog consolidated in the sidebar — The Changelog link now lives inside a single Help nav group at the bottom of the sidebar, removing the duplicate entry from the dashboard header.
Acquisition Sources report
A new Sources page breaks down how visitors arrive — referrer host, raw referrer URL, UTM campaign, medium, and source — with conversion and engagement metrics alongside each channel.
Goal progress and upgrade intent tracking
Goals now show progress toward conversion targets, and the Users report flags accounts showing upgrade intent so you can prioritize outreach. Default goals and funnels are seeded automatically for new projects.
- Report diagnostics across Funnels, Users, and Web Vitals — Funnels, Users, and Web Vitals reports now surface diagnostics explaining low-sample data, empty states, and anomalous results so you know whether to trust a number or wait for more data.
- Internal analytics hidden from your dashboard — Traffic from SignalSplash's own dashboard and admin tools is now filtered out of your reports so it doesn't pollute your numbers.
Tracking Audit: see which events to add next
A new Audit page scans your data and surfaces high-impact tracking gaps — undetected identify() calls, silent high-traffic pages, common conversion events you haven't wired yet — each with a why-it-matters explanation and a code example to copy.
SEO reports now click through to per-page details
Each row in the SEO table opens a full report for that page covering meta, social previews, structured data, page stats, and crawl/technical signals — with audit findings and best-practice confirmations inline.
Deeper SEO audit coverage
We now check meta description quality, robots noindex, viewport, html lang, HTTPS canonical, self-referential canonical, twitter:card validity, thin content, excessive external links, and duplicate titles or descriptions across pages.
Funnels and Goals are now persisted to the database
Define conversion goals and multi-step funnels under the new Goals nav section. Configurations persist across devices and sessions so your team sees the same definitions everywhere.
- Idle-aware session heartbeats — Client SDK 1.1.3 only fires heartbeats while a user is actively interacting, so abandoned tabs no longer inflate session durations into 900-minute outliers.
- Bot detection on sessions — Sessions table now flags AI crawlers, search-engine bots, automation tools, and monitoring services with color-coded badges so you can filter real-user traffic from machine traffic.
- Finer timeframe controls and event filters — Added 15m and 1h timeframes across the dashboard, and the events stream now supports filter dropdowns for hiding heartbeats and web-vitals noise.
- Smoother card load-in and tighter dashboard layout — Overview cards animate in without flicker or layout shift, default heights are tuned, and the activity heatmap defaults to a 1-hour granularity.
- Polished sessions and events tables — Anonymous users now show a copyable identifier, durations render in tabular monospace, track events appear in clickstream timelines, and table headers have a subtler darker background in both themes.
Pro billing, server SDK, and API keys are live
You can now upgrade to Pro, create API keys from Settings, and use the SignalSplash server SDK or direct read API to access your analytics data from your backend.
Search Queries now pulls from Google Search Console
Connect Search Console to see query, impression, click, CTR, and ranking data across your connected projects in one place.
Vercel-managed domains can verify and attach automatically
When a site uses Vercel DNS, SignalSplash can create the Google TXT record, verify Search Console ownership, and attach the property so it appears in Search Queries without a separate manual DNS step.
Sessions and Users reports are much more detailed
The dashboard now includes richer clickstream timelines, resizable reports, and better user detail with identified accounts, devices, locations, and automation signals.
