Last updated: April 10, 2026
SignalSplash ("we", "our", "us") provides web, user, and product analytics tooling. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
Data we collect
When a visitor lands on a website that uses the SignalSplash SDK, we automatically collect the following:
- Page URL and referrer
- Anonymised IP address (used only to derive country/city, never stored in full)
- User-agent string (used to infer device type, browser, and OS)
- Screen resolution and viewport size
- UTM campaign parameters
- Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP, TTFB)
- Custom events fired by the developer via
track()
We do not collect passwords, payment details, or any personal information beyond what is listed above unless explicitly passed by the developer via the identify() call.
How we use your data
- To provide analytics dashboards to the website operator
- To detect and deduplicate sessions and unique visitors
- To compute aggregated, anonymised statistics
- To improve SignalSplash reliability and performance
We do not sell data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with any external analytics platforms.
Data retention
Raw analytics events are retained for 12 months. Aggregated reports are retained indefinitely. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.
Your rights
If you are a visitor to a site powered by SignalSplash, you can request deletion of any data associated with your session by contacting the website operator. If you are a SignalSplash account holder, you can request export or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing us.
Security
All data is transmitted over TLS. Our database is hosted on Neon (PostgreSQL) with encrypted connections. Access is restricted to authenticated team members.
